PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV ATTENDED THE OPENING OF THE CERAMIC TILE PRODUCING PLANT AT THE GILAN SERAMIK PARK
During his visit to Hajiqabul, President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the ceramic tile producing plant at the Gilan Seramik Park.
Establishment of the new enterprise plays a great role in addressing the population employment issue. The plant employees will have two canteens for 100 and 150 seats. All conditions for the recreation of guests and plant employees have been created in the four-storied guest house for 80 places built in the territory of the plant. There are also all necessary conditions in the administrative part of the plant. A conference hall and a meeting room are constructed at the highest level.
Various events can be hosted here. The samples of the plant production are demonstrated at the two-storied exhibition hall. Storehouses for production and equipment spare parts were built, and a pump station, a boiler room and a booster were set in the area of the plant. Maintenance works along with the greening of the area were carried out in the yard and a sport ground was constructed.
It was informed that the plant is located at a close area of 19.700 sq m. Modern equipment installed at the plant will manufacture a competitive production.
Ilham Aliyev launched the enterprise.
AZN 40.2m has been invested into creation of the enterprise. A preferential loan of AZN 5m has been allocated by the National Fund of Assistance to Entrepreneurship of the Ministry of Economic Development for equipment purchase and construction works. The annual demand of the enterprise for raw materials makes 80,000 tons. Most part of this demand will be met through local stock and some mixtures will be supplied from Turkey and Ukraine.
Quite a sufficient number of high quality crude deposits has been revealed in the area of Absheron and Ganja-Gazakh economic regions as a result of geological studies held to create a raw-material base of the plant.
The plant will produce 1,815,000 square meters of floor tile, 1,798,000 square meters of wall tile and 165,000 of decorative tiles. In the future, the plant will produce all sizes of tiles with respect to the demand.
Over 500 people have been provided with permanent jobs at the Gilan Seramic LLC. A three-shift schedule will be applied at the enterprise with 94 people working in each shift.
President Ilham Aliyev was informed that another facility - new ceramic-magnetic plant will be built in the area. It was noted that the purpose of the construction is to increase the volume and range of products.
The Head of State praised the works done here and gave certain instructions.
According to the information, in the southern part of the plant on the territory of 15 hectares it is planned to build the enterprise producing various showers, baths, as well as other types of equipment of sanitary conveniences.
The implementation of these projects into reality will give an impact for greater social and economic development of the region and will play a major role in the provision of jobs.
Then the Head of State got acquainted with the exhibition hall of the plant. The samples of the plant production are demonstrated here. It should be noted that this product due to the high quality will be able to compete on the world market.
President Ilham Aliyev also visited the administrative part of the plant. It has all necessary conditions. A conference hall and a meeting room are constructed at the highest level. A photo stand showing great contribution made by the national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev to the economic development of the country is created in the administrative part of the plant. The Head of State praised the works done here and gave certain instructions.
